Spatial Strategy

The park layout organizes activity zones around a clear circulation path that guides visitors through the site.

Sports courts, fitness areas, and seating spaces are positioned to create an open and connected environment while maintaining clear visibility and accessibility throughout the park.

This layout supports both organized sports and casual recreational use while encouraging movement and exploration across the space.
Environmental Graphics
Bold environmental graphics are applied to court surfaces, signage, and park features to create a recognizable visual identity.

These elements help visitors navigate the park while reinforcing the energetic atmosphere of the recreational environment.

The graphics also activate the space visually, making the park feel dynamic and engaging even when viewed from a distance.
Lighting Strategy
Lighting plays a key role in extending the usability of the park into the evening.

Palm trees, pathways, and activity zones are illuminated to improve safety while enhancing the visual atmosphere of the space.

The nighttime lighting transforms the park into a vibrant destination where sports, social interaction, and community events can continue after sunset.

Community Experience
Collections Courts Park is designed to support a wide range of community activities.

During the day, the park functions as a hub for sports, exercise, and recreation.

At night, the illuminated courts and pathways create an energetic social environment that encourages visitors to gather, play, and interact in a safe and welcoming public space.
Design Outcome
Collections Courts Park demonstrates how environmental graphics, lighting, and spatial planning can transform a traditional park into a vibrant community landmark.

The project highlights how thoughtful design can activate public space, encourage physical activity, and strengthen community identity.

Concept

Collections Courts Park transforms a traditional recreational park into a vibrant community destination through sports, environmental graphics, and lighting.

The design introduces a bold visual identity, multi-sport activity zones, and illuminated pathways that encourage both daytime recreation and nighttime community use.

By integrating wayfinding, lighting, and graphic elements into the landscape, the park becomes more than a recreational facility—it becomes a recognizable neighborhood landmark that encourages social interaction and active lifestyles.
